Paiton's Place Family Services (PPFS) offers a day habilitation program for adults with developmental disabilities. PPFS provides robust weekday programs for adults. Our belief is that individuals living with developmental challenges are lifelong learners and if given the appropriate supports, can soar to new heights. Caring for a special needs adult can be a physically and emotionally exhausting, round-the-clock commitment for families. We offer person-centered programs, compassion, and encouragement, thus enabling families to live their fullest and happiest lives possible.
These individualized programs offer clients the opportunity to pursue a variety of activities individually or within small groups, and are designed to stimulate and make their lives fulfilling and productive. Our day habilitation program offers clients specialized plans to promote independence. PPFS’s holistic approach works with all aspects of an individual - bringing together work, family, friends and community to ensure a rewarding experience. PPFS focuses on lifestyle enrichment for adults living with developmental challenges, putting emphasis on respect, and providing genuine care. PPFS guarantees the Department of Aging and Development Services (DADS) standards for care are met, upheld, and consistent with the needs of our Individuals. PPFS provides skills training in areas of self-help, communication, social, independent living, behavior and affective development.
